Fresh Cauliflower

Cauliflower

Cauliflower is a very popular type of cabbage in the Netherlands and is also a very healthy vegetable. Like broccoli, cauliflower belongs to the cruciferous family. Although much of the cauliflower is grown in the Netherlands, a significant amount also comes from countries such as Spain, Italy, and France.

On an area of 120 hectares, Groentemakers grows cauliflower for the fresh market. Groentemakers plants it from March to the end of July, and harvesting takes place from late May to early November. We supply both domestic and international markets, and our range varies from mini cauliflowers to size 6 cauliflowers.
